Living Islam
What is Living Islam?
Our monthly Living Islam gatherings create a time and place to explore the issues specific to entering into the faith of Islam. There may be cultural, experiential, or emotional challenges you are facing and need insight into and you perhaps don’t know who to turn to for insight and guidance.
This is where Living Islam comes in. You get the opportunity to ask whatever questions you want from a qualified scholar who will help you dispel any confusion you may have. Gain the clarity you seek.
As an institution founded with the primary mission to support new converts to Islam, M.E.C.C.A. is here to provide answers to your questions and help you in any way we can.
What if you're not new to Islam?
You are wholeheartedly invited to participate to gain clarity and understanding about this religion. Hear from other brothers and sisters about their experience navigating this faith and unburden your struggles with us.
We have many converts and born Muslims participate quite actively as the opportunity to get such qualified advice isn’t readily available.
When is it held?
Living Islam is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month except during Ramadan.
You can check out our calendar page for the next date.
As we don’t have an in-person center, the gathering is held online via Zoom. It is also streamed to our Facebook page.
A few times a year, we would hold Living Islam in-person at a restaurant venue.
Subscribe to our email list to keep up to date.
How can one attend?
Living Islam is open to all interested in learning and discussing about Islam. We invite non-Muslims, converts, and born Muslims to join in the discussion.
For those who wish to attend on the Zoom session, registration is required but is completely free. You can sign up at events.meccacenter.com or at the button below.
