Foundations of Worship: Mastering the Basics of Salah
[ONLY FOR SISTERS] Your journey with Allah begins here. Foundations of Worship is a welcoming class designed specifically for new Muslims sisters who want to learn, strengthen, and perfect their prayer—Salah, the second pillar of Islam.
In this supportive class, you’ll learn how to confidently perform each part of the prayer: from the physical movements to memorizing the essentials of the prayer like Surah Al-Fatiha, the Tashahhud, and the integral dhikrs of the prayer—with proper Tajweed and pronunciation. Whether you’re just starting or looking to ensure your prayer is correct and meaningful, this class will walk you through it all, with patience, repetition, and encouragement. No prior knowledge is required—just bring your heart and a desire to connect with your Lord. This is not just learning how to pray—it’s learning how to stand before Allah with presence, love, and sincerity.

Prerequisite
None required in terms of knowledge but must be a sister.
Recording
Each session will be recorded on Zoom. Links to access the recordings will be sent to all via email.
Payment Options
Please note that the registration fee covers all sessions of the class. No discount codes applied on top of bundle offers. Fees depend on the date of registration. See below:
Regular registration fee until September 13:
- $40 per class
- $80 for bundle of 3 classes (this price gives you one class free!)
- $160 for all classes being offered (this price gives you two classes free!)
Late registration fee from September 14 and thereon:
- $50 per class
- $100 for bundle of 3 classes (this price gives you one class free!)
- $200 for all classes being offered (this price gives you two classes free!)
Financial Aid
Financial aid is also provided. Please note that, if approved, financial aid will cover the entire cost of the class and can only be applied towards one class per semester per student.
