Hafidh Mohammed Zahirul Islam

Hafidh Mohammed Zahirul Islam was born in Bangladesh and migrated to the United States of America at the age of five with his entire family. At the age of fifteen, he completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an and thereafter, learned and mastered tajweed (elocution) under the tutelage of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Banna of Egypt. At the age of twenty-one, he graduated from the inaugural Madrasa Al-Arabia Al-Islamia of South Africa, earning the title of Moulana (Islamic Scholar) as well as the title of Sab’a and Ashara Qaari (ten different narrations of the style of recitation of Quran). At present, he is pursuing a course of study to become a medical doctor.
