Crafting for Allah | Hygiene Kits for the Homeless

“So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good”.

“A Muslim is a brother of Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Come and join us for an enjoyable afternoon where we will gather together to stitch and assemble hygiene kits for the homeless.  Minimal sewing experience is needed as we will use face towels to convert into toiletry pouches and then fill with hygiene essentials. If you can use a needle and thread then we need you! The kits will be donated to a local homeless shelter in New York City insha’Allah.
