Low commitment and comprehensive!\nClass Description\nIn this class, the teacher will take students through “The Refinement of the Souls” which is a translation of a famous work by Imam ibn Ata Allah Sakandari, may Allah have mercy on him, who was a Sufi Master of the Shadhili Order. It is a concise manual consisting of spiritual instructions and observations, covering themes such as repentance, the effects of sin, the nature of the struggle against the lower self, envy, reliance on divine planning, and many other themes.\nText provided to all students.\nInstructor and Timing\nClass will be instructed by Imam Kemal Cecunjanin and will be held on Thursdays from 8pm to 9pm EDT weekly from August 31 to September 21.\nPrerequisite\nNone required.\nRecording\nEach session will be recorded. Links to access the recordings will be sent to all via email.\nPayment Options\nPlease note that the registration fee covers all sessions of the class.\n\nEarly registration fee of $40 until August 19.\nRegular registration fee of $50 from August 20 and thereon.\n\nFinancial aid and payment plan options are also provided. Please note that, if approved, financial aid will cover the entire cost of the class and can only be applied towards only one class per semester per student.
